Cisco Kidd is one of the last remaining cats from Pollardville. He belonged to the “outlaws”- one of three gangs that lived on the property in Stockton. Cisco was a feral and would not let anyone get near him for the first few years he was at Fat Kitty City. As soon as we would get close, he would take off running. But patience eventually won out, and over the last four years he has become a lap cat (seriously). Cisco is going on 15 years old and he is considered to be our “mascot” since he is the last of the Pollardville gang at the sanctuary.
Many of the 73 cats that were rescued have either been placed in homes, have passed over to Rainbow Bridge from natural causes, or some were euthanized (because it was their time). In Cisco’s case, he’s still here and celebrating his own 10-year anniversary with the sanctuary. We figure that since he doesn’t look a day over a year, he may very well be here for another ten!
