On April 5th, Fat Kitty City Humane Society volunteers picked up cats and kittens from a cat hoarder situation in North Highlands and brought them to safety at our sanctuary.
Cats, and two day old kittens, were rescued from the hoarding house where so far 75 cats have been rescued. The babies were found huddled in an old tire in the home. We are still trying to catch the mom but they are safe and being wonderfully cared for by one of our Fat Kitty City fosters.
Below are the faces of rescue, bringing them to safety. They will need a lot of medical treatment and some socializing but they are on their way to a new forever life.

Thank you for sending positive thoughts and wishes for these scared kitties!
