Fat Kitty City ~ Storm Repair

October 16, 2018 by Gina Woods-Norris Leave a Comment

STORM REPAIR

We just wanted to update you on the progress of the storm repair at the Sanctuary.

Phase I is complete! We installed a second culvert in front of the Sanctuary to handle additional water (if we should ever get a storm of that magnitude again).

We are now focusing on Phase II which is adding a second culvert to the back of the Sanctuary, directing the incoming water out to avoid future flooding.

Phase III will consist of repairing the damaged fencing with new chain link and protective cat fencing. Then, we will add the concrete in order to expand the Sanctuary. Stay tuned for more details!
