The Fat Kitty City Foster to Adopt Program is designed for animals that are not quite ready for adoption. This includes kittens and puppies that are too young, animals with injuries that simply need time to heal, and mothers with litters that need to be together until the babies are weaned. Foster parent volunteers to take care of these animals for a specific amount of time, providing daily care, feeding and giving any needed medication during that period. The animal (s) remain the property of Fat Kitty City until the animal (s) are ready for adoption. Fat Kitty City will set up an appointment through our vet for spay/neutering, vaccinations/boosters, rabies vaccines, microchips and other procedures to finalize the adoption.
