We are launching our ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE, ‘RAISE YOUR PAWS FOR FOOD’ in April. We are looking for volunteers willing to assist us. If you are a member of a scout troop, sports’ team, church/social group or school club we would LOVE to have your help collecting food. Community service time may be earned while collecting food. We will even provide you with a food bin! If you aren’t a member of a group, we would still appreciate any help with collecting canned or dry food. Stay tuned as more information will be coming.
We are having food bins placed around Cameron Park, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, and Granite Bay to collect food at specific vendors. If you know of a business that would allow us to have a collection bin located with them, please contact p.smit@www.fatkittycity.org
In addition, to make it super easy to donate we will be having a virtual food drive at the same time. Every penny will go directly to the cats!
